Woo-hoo, fast servers!

Okay okay, I'll weigh in on the slow LJ situation as well.
Ever since I've had a LiveJournal, I've had the intention to get a paid account -- not so much because of the new features, but more because I think it's fly that it's free in the first place, and since I can afford the measly subscription fee, I should show my appreciation to Brad & co. After LiveJournal sucked a cizznock the other day (Monday?), I finally went and did it. Woo-hoo! I thought. Fast servers!
I guess so. But then the next day, the site was all fucked up anway, and I couldn't get on. And I realized the bad thing about having a paid account: I now feel that I deserve service. Before, I felt like I was getting away with something by being able to have a journal for free, so I never felt like complaining. Now I . . . feel like complaining. How me of me.
But here's one neato thing I get now: my Friends can send me a text message on my cell phone if they want (hi, I'm Mister Scarecrow)! Which will probably never, ever, ever, come in handy, but . . . what the hell.
Oh, and does everyone who uses the client have the newest 1.4.7-Beta version? Well, you should GET it, because you can set it so that whenever someone posts something on your Friends page, your little pencil blinks redly. Which means less refreshing, which just slows the servers down a lot. Yay technology!
