THINK ABOUT HOW AWESOME YOU'RE GOING TO BE NEXT TIME YOU PLAY.
Hey, I ever tell you this? This was back during our super-heavy Dr. Mario kick at the old apartment. I saw Dr. Mario pills everywhere, i.e. the standard places like tiles, and when I was falling asleep and whatnot. But there was a point where, one night, I found myself having a very serious fight with my then-girlfriend (a fight which was totally unrelated to Dr. Mario, thank god), and it was seriously like really really bad stuff, and we were THIS close to breaking up, and she's crying and everything, and man, I COULD NOT STOP seeing Dr. Mario pills in the highlights and shadows of said then-girlfriend's face. I saw the pills falling, and the highlights and shadows of her face were dictating where the pills should be placed, to match values of light and dark (instead of red, blue, and yellow), and therefore, make the pills go away and not pile up to the top of her face, which would mean I'd lost. It kept distracting me from the argument. I don't know if my heightened emotional state brought that on or what. It was at that moment that I knew I had a problem. Well, two problems.
