Oh man I forgot to mention that on Tuesday (that would be December 17th, folks) there was a Christmas tree out by the dumpster. And it wasn't all brown or anything, like it had died prematurely . . . weird. Also, bah humbug.

OH! You should've saved it and had TWO trees! Poor little guy...to be abandoned before Christmas. That is so SAD! Maybe some kids were bad and the parents got rid of it as punishment.

We tried to have a tree to celebrate Christmastime last year, it was all lit up gaily decorated with silver bells and colored baubles, but the mere presence of the nettles left me breathless and rashy.

Fie on my delicate constitution!

Perhaps a benevolent stranger came to their door with the gift of a bigger and better tree. Maybe this can be a new christmas tradition!

Maybe whoever left the tree there celebrates Christmas in early December, thus it's function had been completed. If that was the case, it wouldn't be any sadder than the hundreds of thousands of trees that are left discarded on the road sides in late December...right?

Maybe it was a Hannukah tree!

That makes me almost as sad as this story about a goat.

It's awesome how into Christmas you are. I'm kinda a Bah Humbug right now but you're totally getting to me.
