KFC marketing gone slightly awry

Last night Mitch and I were watching tv and there was a commercial for KFC BBQ wings. They looked shiny and delicious and reminded me of General Tso's Chicken, so we started talking about Chinese food: what we liked best, and what we had and had not tried, and how good cold General Tso's is for breakfast the next morning, and I told him about the best take-out place in the world which is the Hunan Garden in Waldwick, NJ. After five to ten minutes of this talk I said "do you want to order some Chinese food?" and he said "okay" and so we did.

I had chinese food last night too, though it was entirely tv commercial-unrelated.

What did you get? I always want to get the exotic stuff, where the name gives you no implication of what you're gonna get, because you just know some of that stuff's got to be really good; I never do, though. I always get general tso or, lately, sweet and sour chicken.

Now I'm all hungry.

I got General Tso's with white rice and an egg roll, and steamed dumplings. Mitch got sweet-n-sour chicken with white rice. Which I learned is popcorn chicken with sauce for dippin'.

Mitch was supposed to eat my eggroll, but he forgot. I had one dumpling and three or four pieces of the General, and four or five pieces of the other chicken. Mitch just ate his chicken, but didn't finish it. And the rest, my friends, is LEFTOVERS. Mm.

Take that leftover General Tso's, and cook it on top of a frozen vegatable pizza.

That, my friend, is the shit.
