Ugh, I even dream about trains!
Jul. 16th, 2001 08:40 amThis morning I had a weird bizarre slightly-scary dream. I don't remember the details, but there was one little scene in particular that I DO remember because Mister Scarecrow was in it.
He and I were sitting on a train together. We hadn't planned on it or anything, we were just by chance on the same train. He was sitting by the window, and I was by the aisle. We were chatting amicably when all of a sudden Mister Scarecrow poked me in the belly. "Haha," I said. Then he poked me in the belly again. "All right, very funny Mister Scarecrow, that's enough," I said. He continued to poke me in the belly, and I started getting a little weirded out. "Um, all right, cut it out," I requested. I mean, I barely know this guy.
That's when I woke up to discover that I was sleeping on my back, and Henry was standing on my stomach, trying to knead himself a comfy place to sit.
A few notes about this story:
1. It's all true.
2. Yes, I did call him "Mister Scarecrow" in the train. That's his name, right?
3. Henry is my cat. The story makes more sense if you know that.
4. Not until I began typing this did I remember the punishment for disobeying Scarecrow's Law. But I was in training last Wednesday, I swear!
