Life is Good

I feel so cheerful today! Maybe it's because I had a big dinner last night . . . maybe it's because I was asleep before eleven . . . maybe it's because I got to watch the "Bully" episode of Dr. Katz last night . . . maybe it's because I got a pretzel this morning (apparently it's Wednesdays, not Thursdays) . . . maybe it's because I get to see Madonna this weekend . . . maybe it's because I have an actual task to accomplish at work, and it involves figuring stuff out . . . maybe it's because this morning is post-rainy and cool . . . whatever the reason, I'm in good spirits, man. Interstate high-five.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot to talk about this:

I was reading hydrogen's post about receiving weird emails from strangers, and it reminded me. Two days ago I arrived home from work to find a message on my answering machine. The caller ID said "Out of Area", and it's a voice of a guy I don't recognize, who sounds about my age. This is what he says:

"We should make actual cars that roll."

Haha! What?

Except, unlike hydrogen, who seems to be amused yet leery, I think this is fucking fantastic (mine wasn't lecherous, though). Who is this guy? What the hell is he talking about? Did he call me specifically? I wish he would call EVERY DAY with more wisdom, but he didn't call yesterday. We SHOULD make actual cars that roll! Or something!

Ununderlined

Of course I love interests in the Interests box that aren't underlined; everyone does. Never trust a LiveJournaler with no ununderlined interests. But what I also find very cool are interests that have just a few other people, like "long hot showers" and "making decisions". I'll put something in that occurs to me and then check it out, and if it's only one or two other people, I'm like, yeah, right on, man. Cause that guy knows what I'm talkin' 'bout.
