Re-reading the scene, which is from Jaime's POV, it is very "& then Cersei said no but I had stopped listening & she hit me with her puny fists but I tuned her out until she said 'yes'" so I am actually coming around on it. I think maybe we'd been too forgiving of Ye Olde Kingslayer, too willing to jump on the redemptive arc, to willing to overlook the "grey rape"-- using that loathesome phrase to give a loathesome air to the act-- scene where he rapes Cersei. Plus, it makes their (mutual?) sexual abuse more vivid, rather than "fun tumblr twincest sex fantasy."
