littlewashu | Two things

1. They Might Be Giants are playing at Irving Plaza this weekend. It's in New York, but it's on a weekend, which makes it totally doable. And I like Irving Plaza. I saw Soul Coughing there. And yet, I've made no attempt to get tickets. How moderately depressing . . . but their shows have been just "okay" recently, and I don't feel like putting out the money and effort for a mediocre show, seeing songs I've seen before. When they come back to Philly, I'll see them. Or when they come out with a new album. Ha. Ha ha. Relatedly, my parents got me Dial-A-Song for Christmas, but I looked real quick and are there any new tracks on it? I wish I had gotten Rarities or whateverthefuck it's called, but I didn't make a list of cd's this year because I'm stupid.

2. I didn't get to watch Holiday Inn this year! I love forties/fifties Christmas stuff. That means Christmas to me. And my mom loves that shit, so I love it too. I bought Swingin' Christmas this year and I'm very glad I did, it's such fun. I highly recommend. Oh and I did ALL of my Christmas shopping online this year. A couple things from Homestar Runner, and all the rest from Amazon (hooray for the Apparel department making my life that much simpler!) and I went to Amazon from Jon's banner at ape-law every time! I hope that you are showered with rewards for all the hard work I did, Jon!
