Dec. 20th, 2002 06:20 pmI love when other sci-fi stuff is like Dune. Right now on this episode of ST:TNG the captain and Wil Wheaton and some dude have crash-landed on a moon that seems to be a desert planet. Moon. Desert moon.
When Episode One was on TV on Thanksgiving, it delighted me to no end. I mean Tatooine, to begin with. And then this kid that everyone thinks is the one . . . what do they call him? The Jedi, what does Liam Neeson think he is? The one who will unite all something? And the Kwisatz Haderach is he who is where um all paths connect? WOW that was wrong terminology but you know, right idea.
I'm almost done with the final book in the Dune series again. Without a doubt, 5 and 6 (of 6) are my favorites. I'll be sad when I'm done.
